I’ve been reflecting on why I find day trading not stressful, despite having bipolar disorder type 2, high-functioning autism, and ADHD.
note: with a little help of AI content generation. Asking the tough questions.
Here’s why it might feel different for me:
- Personal Interest: I have a genuine interest in financial markets from a technical analysis POV, which makes trading more enjoyable and engaging rather than stressful.
- Effective Coping Mechanisms: I’ve developed strong ways to manage stress, helping me stay focused and balanced during trading. Which has trickled down into all areas of my life.
- Preparation and Structure: Being well-prepared and having a structured approach removes a lot of potential stress from day trading. And my life. I kid. you not, after I started applying daily habits using my 50X Derivatives Bybit trading sheet as a baseline, everything changed for me! I’m literaly focussed on gaining +1% per day.
- Positive Reinforcement: Success in trading boosts my mood and provides a sense of achievement, contributing to a positive emotional state.
Key Insight: Everyone’s experience is unique, and personal circumstances play a significant role in how activities like day trading impact us. As long as I keep monitoring my mental and emotional well-being and don’t experience negative effects, I feel day trading is suitable for me. However, staying alert to any changes and being ready to adjust my approach if necessary is crucial.
